Mr. Robot follows the story of Elliot, an antisocial hacker-turned-cyber-vigellante who's recruited by a mysterious anarchist known only as "Mr. Robot". Together with a ragtag group of other misfit "hactivists", Elliot and Mr. Robot plot a heist to break into a high security data facility and take down one of the world's largest corporations, E Corp.
This drama-thriller's unique take on the hacker genre focuses on exploring its characters just as much as it strives to portray the gritty, technical hardwiring that goes into the underground world of hacking. Ever since its premier in June of 2015, "Mr. Robot" has been earning rave reviews from critics and audiences alike, with an overall rating of 9.1 on IMDb.com and a score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The show airs on USA Network, and finished out its first season on Wednesday, August 24th. The creator of the show, Sam Esmail, also acts as Executive Producer.
