Faking It, is a romantic comedy series that premiered on MTV in 2014. Faking It is about two teenage girls that are trying to do anything and everything possible to become popular at their high school. After many failed attempts, Karma Ashcroft and her best friend Amy Raudenfeld are invited to a house party hosted by a popular gay student, who actually assumes they are a lesbian couple. As the night goes the two end up being the main topic of the night, and unwillingly they were nominated for homecoming queens. Eventually they both decided to fake themselves into being lesbians so everyone will like them. But as the lies grow, the more consequences come along for them both. Carter Covington is the developer of the series as well as the executive producer. The only way you are able to watch this show is if you have a subscription with any cable company.
