Set in 1900 New York City, Steven Soderbergh's, "The Knick", centers on the Knickerbocker hospital and its unconventional and eccentric staff. The ring leader of his so- called circus is Dr. John Thackery, who captivates his colleagues with his outlandish style and modern techniques. In a time when immigrants flooded the city, and death was no stranger to man, The Knickerbocker experiences unfathomable frenzies.
