The Spoils Before Dying is a comedy series on the cable network IFC that is about an author telling the story of his book, The Spoils Before Dying. The storyline follows a jazz star that begins an investigation on the murder of a fellow jazz star. The show is a satire on how ridiculously bad movies and television shows were in the past. Will Ferrell not only is the executive producer, but he also stars as the often-rambling author. This series is utterly ridiculous and goes in many different humorous directions.
