A Young Doctor's Notebook stars Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm playing the same character, but different ages. Daniel is the younger doctor who treats patients in a small Russian village. Hamm is Daniel, but grown up, and decides to go back through his old medical journals in an attempt to rediscover the happiness he had and the person he once was before the war. The flashbacks between time periods are an interesting way to look at history through media.
