In "F is for Family, viewers follow the lives of the Murphy family in an animated sitcom placed during the 1970's. A big part about the show uses a nostalgia factor to appeal to older audiences that are old enough to remember the time period, and appreciate the satirical look at the 70's the show's creators are going for. Even viewers that aren't old enough to remember the 70's will be able to enjoy the raunchy, ridiculous comedy of the show that tends to follow something close to what animated shows like Family Guy and American Dad go for. It's thanks to a partnership between Netflix, Gaumont International Television, and Wild West Television that the show's creation came about. The show's executive producers include Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, and Bill Burr, who's standup comedy provided the the basis for much of the show's material. This political comedy/drama chronicles the all too familiar quest of a presidential hopeful, whom happens to also be a former First Lady and the Governor of Illinois, Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver). Barrish loses in the primary's to a younger and reinvigorating candidate, and later assumes the role of Secretary of State in the new administration. The mini series follows the Secretary and her dysfunctional family through political scandals, diplomacy issues, and butting family dynamics. The Boondocks is an American television program based off a comic strip and created by Aaron McGruder. The comic strip gained much traction and was syndicated to make its debut in newspapers in 1999. The Boondocks is a fictional story about a black family, the Freemans, who have settled in a mostly white suburban neighborhood of Woodcrest, Illinois. The main characters are Huey and Riley, two boys who live with their granddad. Huey is more of the level headed character with a revolutionary spirit. Riley, on the other hand, is more of the loud-mouthed character with a short fuse. They are two preteen boys who must face many obstacles in their daily lives that often get them into deep trouble with the people of Woodcrest. It is worth the view if one is looking for a show that offers a perspective that mixes cultures, social classes, racial identities and stereotypes to provide for a very satirical portrayal of comedy and conflict. Broadchurch is a British Television Drama Series created and written by Chris Chibnall. Vice correspondent, Krishna Andavolu hosts the show and is able to put a different perspective on the world of cannabis. I believe this show is capable of reaching a bigger audience, although it may seem like a niche series. I think it can help viewers further understand the negative and positive issues/situations that pertain to cannabis use in the US. It is not just a show about a bunch of stoners and potheads. It exceeds beyond that and will undoubtedly teach you more than just about the commercialized recreational use of cannabis. Peep Show is a British comedy show on the BBC's Channel 4 and all nine seasons can be found on Hulu. Its the creation of the comedy duo David Mitchell and Robert Webb who play two polar opposite roommates who never win ever. Mark is an insecure cynical overthinking dweeb while Jeremy is an overconfident doofus with "artistic" aspirations. From the moment I saw you I was convinced you had a Walter White look going! Obviously not a bald head but you remind me of the Scar Face chemistry teacher from perhaps the greatest television show ever, Breaking Bad. If you claim to be as much of a tv fan as you say you are, then I can't imagine you haven't at least heard of this outstanding prequel series if not watched every episode so far. Bob Odenkirk is amazing as Saul Goodman and the series is much like the award winning series by Director Vince Gilligan. If you loved breaking bad, there's no reason this show wouldn't get your goose pimples going again when an underdog lawyer becomes a criminal mastermind, within the confines of "the law."

Bravest Warriors is set in the year 3085, it follows four teenage "heroes for hire" as they travel the universe saving various species from peril. The show also explores how the characters deal with their teenage emotions, various shenanigans they get into and heavy plot points focused around their missing parents who are trapped in a different dimension.
Overall, this web series is a great for fans of Adventure Time, as its humor and drawing style are the same. The characters are very relatable and there is no shortness of cute when it comes to the animals and other species featured in the show.

The Leftovers is an HBO series that has just finished its second season. The show follows the original storyline from a novel by the same name written by Tom Perrotta. A Series of Unfortunate Events is a book series about three orphans who lose their parents in a mysterious house fire, and shuffle around homes of family members,. All the while, Count Olaf (a greedy, evil man) ruins their stays there so that the children can come live with him by default so he can steal the money their parents left for them. Which then poses the question to the children of whether or not their parents' death was an accident or if they were murdered. Daniel Handler is the author of the novels the show is based on, and he is also the executive producer, along with Barry Sonnenfeld, who produced the movie back in 2004.

This is a Netflix Original Series, so it will be solely on Netflix and not on cable or television. A consumer interested in watching this series would have to have a Netflix subscription. Cutthroat Kitchen is a Food Network reality tv cooking competition that pits four chefs against one another, similar to Chopped, however there is one major twist that separates this cooking show from any other. Each contestant is given $25,000 that they can choose to use to sabotage their competitors in one way or another during each round. The sabotage is given to the highest bidder and they use it on whichever of their competitors they choose to give them a disadvantage while cooking a meal that has been assigned to said competitors. However, there are also items auctioned off that can provide the highest bidder with an advantage over the rest. Each round someone gets eliminated, with the help of a guest judge along with host, Alton Brown. In the end, the chef left standing wins whatever money they have not spent on buying things to given them an advantage or sabotage their competitors.

The storyline deals primarily with the successful, young, tech programmer, Josh Kaminski (Jonathan Sadowski) dealing with a horrible fiancé who controls every detail of his life and only wants him for his money, while the chef, Gabi Diamond (Emily Osment), is on the verge of being bankrupt finds Josh and works for him as his personal chef in a very awkward fashion. Detectorists is a BBC Four British comedy-drama series. Main characters Andy and Lance are eccentric metal detectorists, who spend most of their time scanning the fields of their hometown in search of fortune. They belong to the Danebury Metal Detecting Club, with other detecting enthusiasts. The plot also follows their lives outside of metal detecting: ambitions, loves and struggles. The characters are charming oddballs, the writing is quick witted and the show has a lot of endearing moments. Plus, the music in the show is gorgeous! Mackenzie Crook (Gareth in the original British Office series) is the writer, director and one of the main characters (Andy). Toby Jones (who played Truman Capote in Infamous) plays the character of Lance. While Detectorists aired originally on BCC Four, you can find six half-hour episodes of the first season on Netflix. Season two is in the works for BBC Four.

He also directed Freeks and Geeks which is a TV show from the 90's that still carries an indie-cult following. In addition to the first 10 episodes, Netflix has already ordered an additional 12 episodes for Season 2.
