Weediquette started out as a web serier on the VICE Youtube channel but soon became a full running TV series. Vice correspondent, Krishna Andavolu hosts the show and is able to put a different perspective on the world of cannabis. He travels all around the US and even parts out of the country to show viewers the various effects cannabis can cause. I believe this show is capable of reaching a bigger audience, although it may seem like a niche series. I think it can help viewers further understand the negative and positive issues/situations that pertain to cannabis use in the US. It is not just a show about a bunch of stoners and potheads. It exceeds beyond that and will undoubtedly teach you more than just about the commercialized recreational use of cannabis. (a) Executive producers of the show include Jordan Roberts, Shane Smith, Eddy Moretti, and Spike Jonze. (b) Weediquette airs on VICELAND, which is a channel owned and programmed by VICE media. The U.S. TV channel is owned mainly by A&E Networks and can be seen through either through the Dish Netowrk or DirecTV which are direct-broadcast satellite service providers.
