The series follows FBI recruit Alex Parrish. The show starts with a bombing in New York City that is said to the biggest since 9/11. Alex is immediately a suspect in the bombing. There are several flashbacks during the show that allow us to see all the events leading up to the attack and even allow us to see that all the FBI recruits have secrets of their own and we are all left trying to figure out who is actually responsible for the attack if it's not Alex.
