A feel-good family sitcom on Netflix about two lifelong teenage best friends (and next-door neighbors): Alexa Mendoza and Katie Cooper. The summer right before they start high school together, Alexa gets diagnosed with Leukemia. So when she starts losing her hair, as a result of the chemo, she becomes nervous about how people at school will treat her once they find out she has cancer. Thus to show Alexa that, no matter what, she won't have to go through that or anything else alone, Katie voluntarily shaves her head. This is just one example of how powerful their friendship is in this series.
