Adventure time (an animated series) was created by Pendleton Ward (no relation).
It currently airs on cartoon network (6 seasons so far and renewed for a 7th); adventure time has 2 main characters Finn (12 yr old boy) & Jake (the dog/adopted brother). They live in an post-apocalyptic world, in the land of Ooo. 2-3 million viewers/week the show is a success for cartoon network, also on netflix. This show has some video game characteristics in the animation and also in the adventures is how the other characters like Ice King, B MO, Princess Bubble Gum come into the show. Its really hilarious I've been watching since it first came out in 2010. Awesome show.
