Munchies, produced by James Quinn is a new website/digital video channel from VICE that purely focuses on food and its global purpose. It was launched in 2014 and offers groundbreaking content from a youth driven perspective. The series Munchies not only allows us to view the wide variety of global culinary experience but the diverse voices that attracts the viewers, including chefs, home cooks, makers and consumers. We learn about the politics and policies of food, "front and back of house" restaurant life, and old wives tales. This show also offers editorial features, articles, how-to's, recipes and events. Munchies displays a signature perspective on the intersection where humans and food connect.
