The 4400 is a science fiction series that was produced by CBS for the USA Network that ran from 2004 to 2007, it is currently available on Netflix. The show follows the story of 4400 people who have disappeared at various times beginning in 1946. Set during present time all 4400 people are deposited in Washington by a flash of light, we learn that none of the 4400 have aged since they were abducted or have any memory of what has happened to them. As the 4400 struggle to reenter society some of them begin to acquire special abilities, causing non-4400 citizens to panic. As the series develops we learn that the 4400 were abducted and given these abilities by humans from the future to prevent an unknown catastrophe.
