What Henry doesn't anticipate, however, is how much he'll learn. As a workaholic who rarely makes time for socializing, even Henry's boss, Sam (Harewood), knows he is disconnected from personal relationships. Henry eventually begins to realize that his little "project" just might have something to teach him. After all, keeping life at arm's length is great for taking a selfie, but not so much if you want someone in the picture next to you.

Mulaney is a new show on FOX written by and starring the executive producer John Mulaney. Mulaney is not the events of John's life getting to being an Emmy Award-winning writer and comedian, but is, as he puts it, how it felt. It stars himself in the title roll, Nasim Pedrad as his female room mate from college who has OCD, Seaton Smith as his successful comedian room mate and his ridiculous boss, played by Martin Short. John recently got employed by Martin Short, an older comedian who recently became a cheesy gameshow host, as a writer. The main conflict stems from Mulaney's questioning of whether this job was truly what he had in mind as a comedian and writer. He begins to question what he's compromising, what it says about him if he quits and what it says about him if he stays? It premieres on October 5.

BBC America first brought us Orphan Black in March, 2013, which aired its first season of ten episodes. The second season aired April-June of 2014 for another 10 episodes. After seeing a woman who looked identical to her kill herself, Sarah played by Tatiana Maslany as well as 14 distinctly different clones, decides to steal the woman's identity. Sarah soon finds out that there are more of them out there. The show is based around 4 clones who are secretly teaming up to try an find out where they came from and who is after them.

From executive producers Martin Gero, Stephen Stohn, Linda Schuyler, and Troy Miller, The L.A. Complex is a modern take on "Melrose Place," centering on young aspiring entertainers trying to make it in Hollywood. The main character of the show is Abby Vargas, played by Cassie Steele. Some of you may know her from the popular show, Degrassi, where she played Manny. Even though she is the main character, the other characters have just as much of a storyline as she does. The setting is Hollywood but like Melrose Place, all of the characters live in an apartment complex with other aspiring entertainers, called "The Luxe." This show aired on the CW starting in 2012, and made it to season 2! However, the CW did not order a 3rd season, cancelling the show. Since it was on a broadcast network, the show was paid for my advertisers. This show will make you laugh, make you cry, make you angry and surprise you! This has literally been one of the best shows I have ever seen! Even though it was cancelled, you can luckily watch the 19 episodes on Netflix, Amazon, and iTunes! The L.A. Complex is a very well written show, and you will see why it is one of my favorites after you watch this preview!

This is a car show like no other. Airing in 2002, Top Gear is still today finding ways to make the world of automobiles funny, exciting, and sensational. The motley crew comprised of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and their tamed racing drive the Stig can make anyone interested in the shenanigans they cook up. From driving through Vietnam in motorcycles to having a race between a car and a bullet train. Being a car show they also do reviews on cars, and these are some of the most objective consumers in the business. If they don't like a feature on a car or the car itself they are not shy in explaining why. And thats where the humor comes in. It was for a time questionable programming for children and many parents weren't sure if it was a good thing for there kids to be watching. The Most Dope Family is a different type of reality television series that premiered on MTV2 on February 26th of 2013. With the executive producers Jeff Altrock, Darin Byrne, Dara Cook, Benjy Grinberg, and Mac himself; shows a series of episodes of Mac Miller and his four closest friends from Pittsburgh while they go an adventures, wither its around the world or in the city of L.A. in Mac's new mansion. The series has already aired two seasons and hopefully will get picked up for a third. What I enjoy about this show is it isn't your average reality show. There isn't pointless fighting, nonsense, and back stabbing going on. It's just five friends doing whatever they want and enjoying the ride along the way. The show still airs a few episodes on MTV2 from time to time and majority of season 2 on MTV2.com.

Gonzalez, Diana (TTh) The Booth at the End 100 (This is a winner!-55 said they'll watch)

The Booth at the End is a two season long drama series now found on Hulu. The series originally ran from August 27, 2010 on the Canadian network City. The first season of the show was directed and produced by Jessica Landaw, who also has directing credits in One Tree Hill and Bones. The second season was directed and co-produced by Adam Arkin, who had directing credits in Sons of Anarchy and The Americans.

The series poses the question: How far would you go to get what you want? The series revolves around a man sitting in a diner, and like the title suggests, at one of the booths at the far end. Hearing rumors that the man can grant desires, people approach him. Each character is then given a task with the promise that as long as they continue to update the man on their progress in detail, the desire will be fulfilled. These tasks are meant to push people's limits on their morality, sometimes even asking for murder.

Westgate, Jeffrey (TTh) Backstrom 100

Backstrom is an upcoming hourlong American crime comedy-drama series based on the Swedish book series by Leif G. W. Persson developed by Bones executive producer Hart Hanson. The series will premiere in spring 2015.

Backstrom centers on Everett Backstrom (Rainn Wilson), an "overweight, offensive, irascible" detective who is engaged in a constant struggle with his "self-destructive" tendencies, and is part of a team of eccentric criminologists.

Backstrom has become Fox's second series order to come from a pilot previously developed for another network during the 2013-14 pilot season. CBS passed on the pilot, leaving FOX the opportunity to look like geniuses. This will be Rainn Wilson's first lead role in a TV series and appears FOX gave him incentive by offering a role in production.

Dual Survival features a pair of survival experts who are faced with challenging environments. Throughout this adventurous series the two experts show use a minimum amount of gear that would be found in real life and various tactics for finding shelter, food, water, and help in the environments they face. I really enjoy this show for many reasons. First off, it is educational while still being interesting. Second, it is about real life situations that anyone could be faced with in life. Third, there is still some drama mixed into the show to help you understand the characters and understand what they are going through. This show plays on the Discovery Channel and you can find it on Netflix with a subscription.

Forever is a show airing on ABC's current lineup and focuses on Dr. Henry Morgan, portrayed by Ioan Gruffudd (Titanic, Fantastic Four). Although she does not have a family to call her own, she does have parents, brothers, nieces and close friends to keep her well-balanced. Mixology is a TV series that aired on ABC Family in February of 2014. It was created by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. It is a comedy about a group of ten individuals, five single men and five single women, who are all at the same bar on the same night. Each person is from a different background and has a very different lifestyle from the other. The show encompasses how each of them interact with each other and how their relationships develop throughout the night. Some end up finding love, some become life-long friends, and some make decisions that will change their lives forever. I enjoyed this show immensely because of how realistic the situations were and it is very easy to relate to for any type of person. Also it will make you laugh even if you're having the worst day ever. The first season can be found on Netflix.

Vice News is a relatively new alternative news source that has recently moved from producing documentaries solely on Youtube to having its own HBO series. Vice on HBO provides hard hitting and gritty documentaries that cover a wide array of topics traditional news sources don't talk about such as African gangs and the black market oil trade to the growing economic divide in Mumbai to drug addicted veterans. Each episode consists of two 15 minute mini documentaries where a correspondent provides a balanced investigative account of each issue. Due to the success of Vice on HBO, the network has renewed the contract for a third and fourth season. If you enjoy learning about the various trials and tribulations humanity faces everyday, then Vice on HBO is the perfect show for you.

Crossbones is an exciting new TV show that came out this year. The series is based on the book, "The Republic of Pirates" by Colin Woodard. It tells a fictional story of the pirate Black Beard and how he controls the island of Santa Compana where he is ruler. Season ones main plot involves Tom Lowe, a British spy, whose orders are to kill Black Beard, also known as the "Commodore." John Malkovich plays and excellent, ruthless Black Beard and grabs the audience in a way that makes you like and hate his character. Shotts, Camille (TTh) Outnumbered 100

Outnumbered is a show that originally aired in the UK on BBC One in 2007, and was later broadcasted on BBC America and some PBS stations in the US in July 2011. It is also available to watch on HULU. It ran for a total of 5, 6 episode long, series and 3 Christmas Specials. The show was produced by Hat Trick Productions and the Executive Producers are Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, who also wrote the scripts. Outnumbered stars Hugh Dennis and Claire skinner as the "outnumbered" parents of three children, each unruly in their own way. The eldest Brockman child, Jake, is the straight man of the show, the middle child Ben is a pathological liar, and youngest sibling Karen is known for her own brand of precociousness that involves criticizing nearly everything she comes across. The series is a comedy which garnered fame because of it's unusual script style- in that it is "semi-scripted," that adult actors are given a script and general outline of how a scene should go and where the directors/writers want it to end up, but the child actors are given no script and have to go only off of last minute instructions from the writers. The improvisation of the kid's allows from a genuine feel to the dialogue and makes for a unique viewing experience that feels as if you're actually watching the on-goings inside a real family home in South London.

The 4400 is a science fiction series that was produced by CBS for the USA Network that ran from 2004 to 2007, it is currently available on Netflix. The show follows the story of 4400 people who have disappeared at various times beginning in 1946. Set during present time all 4400 people are deposited in Washington by a flash of light, we learn that none of the 4400 have aged since they were abducted or have any memory of what has happened to them. As the 4400 struggle to reenter society some of them begin to acquire special abilities, causing non-4400 citizens to panic. As the series develops we learn that the 4400 were abducted and given these abilities by humans from the future to prevent an unknown catastrophe.

Thorpe, Jeri Lynn (TTH) Off the Air 10

Off the Air is referred to as an Anthology Television Series as each episode provides the viewer with a different story and set of characters. The creator, Dave Hughes, presents the series without an explanation or narration by instead focusing around a single loose theme that can be understood through the episode title. The 11 minute episodes are aired without pause at the 4:00 a.m. graveyard slot on Adult Swim. Its premiere date was January 1, 2011 and they're currently in the works of producing season 4. Though it has remained relatively unknown to most people, its ratings are high and this generally "weird" production actually has quite the respect from critics and Adult Swim alike. A typical episode will showcase anything from viral videos, animations, short films, music videos, and TV and film clips morphed into psychedelic imagery. Rocket Power is an animated comedy about 4 kids who love extreme sports and get into occasional trouble. The Show is set in the fake city of Ocean Shores, California, where the kids enjoy the sunny beach life that the city has to offer. The 4 main characters are Otto the daring athlete: Reggie, the sister of Otto and aspiring writer: Twister, the clueless camera-man: and Squid, the clumsy intellectual. This group of friends enjoy various adventures of surfing, skating, and getting into crazy situations, that usually ends up with them getting wise advice from the adults around them. Pulte, Amanda (MW) GCB 100

GCB is a series that aired in ABC in 2011. The series follows Amanda Vaughn as she adjusts to life back in her childhood home following the scandalous death of her husband. Amanda was a mean girl in high school, but she's changed; however, the women she used to terrorize don't believe her and they're out for revenge. I loved the series because it was incredibly witty and the cast was hilarious. The characters were well developed and the writers managed to highlight their flaws and strengths in character, making the "villains" of the show lovable. It starred Leslie Bibb, Annie Potts, Kristen Chenoweth, Marisol Nichols, and Miriam Shor. Unfortunately some people who never watched the series found it to be offensive because it was based on a book called "Good Christian Bitches" by Kim Gatlin. One Million Moms, an organization of stay at home moms who need a hobby, campaigned against the show and pressured several advertisers into pulling their ads from the show. The series wasn't renewed for another season and it ended on a cliff-hanger!

The animated cartoon centers on the buff, karate-chopping, Elvis Presley voiced like character, Johnny Bravo, who believes he is a gift from god to woman on earth. Johnny Bravo encounters different situations to make the woman of every episode fall in love with him but fails at the end of every show. Candidly Nicole is a realty television show created in July 2014 that portrays the daily events and activities that Nicole Richie lives regularly. Every episode title had a "How To" placed in front, much like her web series that originally sparked the idea for candidly Nicole. From learning how to throw a baseball, learning how to raise chickens, learning how to write a story for a fashion magazine or learning how to be a chaperone at party instead of being the party, Nicole tries to conquer them all. There's currently only one season but VH1 decided to keep Richie and her show around for another season.

The show I chose is called Intruders. Intruders is based on a novel published in 2007 by an author named Michael Marshall Smith called The Intruders. The TV series is about a Los Angeles Police officer who plays as Jack Whelan is asked to investigate strange incidents happening in the town of Los Angeles. This show is a continuous search as to who is causing these mystery occurrences. Jack then comes to find out about a secret society who chases immortality by finding shelter in another one's body. Heroes is a sci-fi drama series that encompasses the lives of several individuals that possess superhuman powers. The series executive producer and creator is Tim Kring, which aired on NBC from 2006-2010. As the series begins each character starts to become aware of their supernatural abilities. Hayden Panettiere plays Claire Bennet, a high school cheerleader that has the ability to reginerate; Greg Grunberg plays LAPD officer Matt Parkman, a mind-reader; Zachary Quinto plays Sylar, a serial killer that takes other's abilities; Ali Larter plays Niki Sanders who has superhuman strength and Adrian Pasdar plays Nathan Petrelli, a congressman that can fly. However, as each character begins to gain control of their powers they must beware the dangers of "The Company" that wants to control them as well as a worldly catastrophic event. Claire's father, Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman), is a secret agent for "The Company" and will go to great lengths to find these individuals including his own daughter. The series is available on Netflix. Earlier this year NBC announced they will have a new mini-series spinoff of the original, Heroes Reborn, that is scheduled to air in 2015.

PBS is airing a seven-part documentary series (14 hours worth of programming), called The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. It started Sunday on the PBS affiliates in Austin and San Antonio. The series is directed by one of the best documentary makers ever: Ken Burns. Burns has created for PBS series on The Civil War, World War II, The Brooklyn Bridge, Mark Twain, The Dust Bowl, The Jazz Age, Baseball, The National Parks System and more. He never disappoints in how he tells a story combining voice talent who read the words of the people shown in his documentaries. He selects music that fits the era for which the documentary depicts. Notable actors like Meryl Streep and Paul Giamatti will be heard in this one. Burns, in effect, immerses the viewer in the era. With this latest documentary, we'll learn more about the lives of Theodore Roosevelt who ascended to the president upon the assassination of William McKinley in 1901. At age 42, he was the youngest president in American history. Theodore was a Republican who encouraged a progressive movement that led to trust busting and greater regulation of industry. His distant cousin, Franklin Roosevelt, was elected president in 1932 during the Great Depression -- a time of great hardship and high unemployment in America. FDR ushered in many new programs to help the poor and the elderly. He also led America through World War II -- a war the nation entered after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. His wife, Eleanor, was a woman of conscience. She, in effect, led the women's movement in her era. These three people had a profound impact on America in the 20th century. I think it'll be a series worth watching.

From executive producer Danny Antonucci came Cartoon Network's longest running original series, Ed Edd N Eddy. Rush is a new medical reality TV show that is aired on USA, that follows a on-call doctor and his patients. The main character Dr. William Rush is not just your average doctor though. He use to work as an emergency room doctor until one day an impulsive decision cost him his entire career. After having lost his career he now works as a medical "fixer" in his vintage mercedes. He likes to be discreet at all times, no matter what the situation is; he does not work at any hospital and is not connected to any hospitals in any sort of way. He drives all around Los Angela's to provide his medical attention to some of the most elite people willing to pay top dollar, even if some of them don't have the best reputation. Rush will meet his clients anywhere as long as they are premium and pay top dollar, cash only, and party with them. No matter what offers people try to make with Rush he has no desire to change his life or the way that his lifestyle is conducted,
until his former flame Sarah comes to stir everything making him anxious. After seeing only a one hour episode of this show you will be wanting to watch more. He has a close connection with all of his patients, but is not use to this new environment that he is working in with the ugliness that he encounters with some of his new clients. Luckily he has his amazing assistant Eve that is very devoted to Rush and helping try to clean up his act. The clients that Rush encounters and the situations range from mild to life threatening situations using his own techniques. The show Rush executive producer is Adam Fierro, who also was the executive producer for other TV series such as , "The Walking Dead", "Dexter", and "The Shield." Rush is brought to us by Entertainment, Fancy Films, Fox 21, and Pine City Entertainment. This reality show was premiered on USA July 17, 2014 at 9pm. Botched is a new reality show on E! that follows the stories of patients undergoing plastic surgeries to fix their previous botched procedures. Doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif display their surgical expertise, taking on three potential patients each episode. The show reveals the possible dangers of plastic surgery and educates its viewers about what to be weary about before considering a procedure. The botched surgeries range from unattractive boob jobs, to life threatening conditions that resulted from botched surgeries. This season follows the new crew members who shakes things up with the old cast member aboard the lavish 10 million dollar private luxury yacht, "Ohana"! The drama filled boat is centered around the crew members hook-ups, serving their wealthy guest, as well as challenges they face among among each other. Copeland, Kelsey (TTH) Traffic Light 100 (48 said they'd watch the show)

Traffic Light, an American TV show adapted from Israeli comedy "Ramzor", centers around three men in their thirties who have been friends since college and are in different romantic stages in their lives: the married one with the new kid, the one in a relationship, and the playboy. A large portion of the narrative is scenes in the cars of the characters during conference calls and the FOX series explores these friendships as each of these men try to navigate their different lives and their demands. The script is witty and light and the cast including David Denman, Nelson Franklin, Kris Marshall, Liza Lapira and Aye Cash is one worth giving a green light!

Kellum, Hailey (MW) Being Human 100

Being Human originally aired on January 17, 2011 and follows three people, based out of Boston, living in the same household. They live completely normal lives despite the fact that one is a vampire, one a werewolf, and the other a ghost. Aiden, the vampire, is caught between a long line of original vampires that recently moved back to Boston and keeping up with his, "normal life" as nurse in a hospital. Josh, the werewolf, deals with his, "curse" while trying to find a cure for himself and manage a developing relationship without hurting anymore people. Last but not least, Sally, the ghost, tries to understand how she died and tries to find a way to bring herself back to life. This series provides drama, comedy, action, and basically a little bit of everything. Big shows like The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and Teen Wolf, are clear signs that the supernatural and science fiction genre in television is gaining a lot of popularity. Being Human is unique in a way that it introduces problems and conflicts that have never before been brought up in other vampire/werewolf shows. It also doesn't make me think of Twilight every time I watch it, which is a plus because that means the show is steering away from the typical vampire/werewolf scenarios that we've all seen before.

Workaholics is a slapstick coming-of-age comedy in which three roommates seek to adapt to adult life without letting go of their childlike behavior. The main characters became acquaintances at college where Blake and Adam were roommates and Anders was their resident advisor, and, in a phase-of-life transition, continue to do things associated with college after dropping out (drinking, partying, pranks, etc.) as they transition into adulthood. The "friendship family's" action is generally confined to the main characters' house and their workspace, a cubicle the three of them share at a telemarketing company called TelAmeriCorp.

Ehr, Kiersten (TTh) The Little Couple 100

The Little Couple is a program currently on TLC that shows a documented every day life of a couple in the Houston suburbs who have dwarfism. Bill and Kim are a happily married couple, Jen is 96.5 cm (3'2") and Bill is 122 cm (4 feet). The show first ran as the Little Couple: Just Married in in 2009, and now has been on the air for six seasons with 117 episodes. This show captures the hearts of viewers instantly as viewers feel for Kim as she undergoes cancer, numerous failed attempts at getting pregnet, and a glimpse at how difficult it is to adopt children internationally. This couple has never had a negative view towards their dwarfism and sees it as an advantage to change the worlds perspective through their eyes. I guarantee some will fall in love with this couple and learn life lessons of overcoming life obstacles. The Executive Producers are: Eric Schotz, Ruth Rivin, and Melissa Tallerine. The show is now on Netflix for the first few seasons.

Casiano, Nickolas (TTH) Love It Or List It 100

"Love It or List It" is a show that airs on HGTV here in America. The basic premise is that a couple/family are torn between keeping the house that they currently live in that has been renovated, or selling it and purchasing a new house that offers what they want. The two hosts of the show, Hilary Farr and David Visentin, are a designer and realtor respectfully. Hilary teams up with the family and put together a budget and then takes their ideas and renovates their house. In the meantime, David takes the families and shows them houses in the neighborhood that are for sale that already have their ideas in place. At the end of the process, the family then decides whether they will continue to love their house or list it and purchase a new one. David and Hilary "compete" with one another and bicker like a married couple. They serve as they comedic relief in the show. Most of the times, the families are also torn with one spouse wanting to list and the other
wanting to stay. All in all, the show provides entertainment and gives ideas for viewers to take on with their own home improvement projects. The show's creators, Maria Armstrong and Catherine Fogarty, also serve as the two executive producers. The show runs for sixty minutes and is currently in their seventh season.

The show airs on HGTV on Mondays.

New Girl, is a sitcom which first aired on September 20th of 2011, on FOX.Elizabeth Meriwhether is the executive producer. The show revolves around a newly 30 year-old heartbroken Jessica Day (Jess). She moves into an loft with 3 single men Winston, Nick, and Schmidt. Who find her odd but as the show evolves they all become very close. The show is funny but also has it's elements of drama. It follows all three characters as well as Jess' model best friend Cece as they figure out relationships and career goals in NYC.
