This animated series details the events that took place between Episode 2 and Episode 3 of the Star Wars pre-quel trilogy. The show follows the missions of the Jedi Knights as they lead the fight against the Separatist Alliance, and offers plenty of character development for many new and old characters from the Star Wars franchise. Although the animation presents a playful style, the series often reflects on the realities of war and the terrible price that must be paid. The show originally aired on Cartoon Network in 2008 and is now available to stream on Netflix. Its executive producers are Catherine Winder and George Lucas.
