19 Kids and Counting series began in September of 2008. This TLC reality TV show is about the day to day lives of Jim Bob, Michelle Duggar and their 19 kids. They have nine girls and ten boys and all of their names begin with the letter J. The Duggar's are Independent Baptist and teach their children to practice a modest way of life. The show features the children's home schooling, the chaperoned courtships (dating) and the buddy system they live by. The executive producers for this show are Bill Hayes, Deanie Wilcher and Kirk Streb.
