Afro Samurai is a Japanese series written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki. The series was inspired by Okazaki's love of hip hop music and American media. Throughout the series, a Black Samurai,by the name of Afro, witnesses the murder of his father at the hands of Justice. After finding peace, Afro's bloody past sparks when he is forced back into the game by the beautiful and deadly woman, Sio. She will not quit until Afro goes through the lessons that he put those who stood in his way. The only way to get to where she is, is to get a hold of the Number One Headband. In doing so, he will be able to finally see his resurrected father. There's no such thing as a final vengeance.
