Married at First Sight is a new television reality show on channel fyi,. The concept of this reality show consists of a group of experts thats match up three couples who they believe are perfect for each other. These "soul mates" are matched up based on their careers, values and morals, and intimacy levels. However, there is a catch: these people do not know each other and do not even know what their names are by the time they say "I Do". In this show, they are literally and legally married at first sight; they challenging themselves to go into a commitment blind.
The spouses are strangers and must live together, facing all conflicts that any other married couple would have to go through. The three couples must complete five weeks of being married to each other before they can decide if they want to stay married or get a legal divorce. It's interesting to watch these people slowly fall in love grow a hatred for their spouse.
