Firefly is a science-fiction series about a band of eclectic friends—or, as I like to call them, "renegade space cowboys"—living on a "Firefly-class spaceship" in the year 2517. The series was produced by Joss Whedon and Tim Minear, and is centered around nine individuals who are trekking across space, seeking adventure, and trying to live independently and in peace from a corrupt and callous Alliance government. Joss Whedon described, Firefly as "nine people looking into the blackness of space and seeing nine different things." With its futuristic, western and dystopian vibe, Firefly delivers its viewers with an exciting journey that combines all the elements of a great show (comedy, violence, action, romance, etc…) and is sure to leave the audience demanding more.
