Cable Girls is a Netflix original show that premiered earlier this year. Cable Girls is a show about four women living in Madrid, Spain in 1928. They each begin working in a telecommunications company as switch board operators and that is how they all meet. The series tells the stories of their lives and what each woman is going through. The stories range from a physically abusive marriage, dating for the first time, or trying to escape their dark past. Each are unique in their own way, yet tie back together because of their work place. A super unique aspect of the show, is that it is all in Spanish and they provide English subtitles within the show.
