The Tick is a new series based on the old and famous comics where a hero dressed in a blue tick suit comes to the city to help a semi-anonymous office worker unravel a conspiracy plaguing their city. Mysterious characters are fought and discovered and hi jinks are had all around. The show is fantastically campy, funny, and thrilling. Peter Serafinowicz plays the starring role as the Tick and Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez, and Jackie Earl Haley round out the main part of the cast. The new version of the show was created by Ben Edlund who also acts as executive producer alongside David Fury, Barry Josephson, Wally Pfister, and Patrick Warburton. The first season is an Amazon original and just became available on Amazon's streaming service.
