The Carmichael Show is a sitcom starring and executive produced by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. The show follows Jerrod Carmichael and his girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West) after Maxine decides to move in with him. Throughout the series, Maxine comes to get familiar with Jerrod's parents played by David Allen Greer and Loretta Devine. This sitcom is very refreshing because they touch very sensitive issues that many families can relate to while still keeping the humor. Season is currently airing on NBC and seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix.
