The Outsider is a drama/thriller series based around the 2018 novel by Stephen King. The series follows the investigation of the gruesome murder of a young boy, which appears to be a cut and dry case when a detective and lead investigator Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) arrests Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman). However, as the investigation continues, the more supernatural twists come along, making Detective Anderson question everything. The series can be streamed on HBO Now and there is a new episode every Monday.
