Emma Larsimon is a successful writer who writes horror stories inspired by a witch named Marianne, that would haunt her dreams as a child. While contemplating the continuity of her writing career, she gets a chilling visit from her childhood friend claiming that Marianne had to come life and is tormenting their hometown. As Emma returns to her hometown, she reconnects with her childhood friends and together they figure out how to end their town's struggle to find peace and Emma finally comes face to face with the evil that plagues her dreams.
