The Durrells is a British comedy-drama series with four seasons that originally aired on ITV in the United Kingdom from April 3, 2016 to May 12, 2019. The series (based on a true story) follows Louisa Durrell who after the death of her husband suddenly decides to move her family from their home in England to the Greek island of Corfu in 1935. The show depicts how Louisa and each of the Durrell children- the literary Larry, the ditsy Margo, the gun-crazy Leslie and the animal-loving Gerry- adapt to life on the unfamiliar island.
