Kim's Convenience Store is about a hard-working Korean family who runs a small business in the city of Toronto, Canada. The head of the family Kim Sang-il and wife Kim Yong-mi have two kids, the eldest son being Jung Kim and youngest daughter Janet Kim. Both Jung and Janet are born Korean-Canadians. They are modern young adults afar from their more traditional parents. Like in any household, there are always disagreements, disputes, and differences. Nonetheless, for the Kim's family always comes first no matter the values or faith, nothing will come between their unity and individual happiness.
