Lange, Sara (TTh) The Bletchley Circle 100
The 1950's were a incredibly controversial time in wartime Great Britain. The beginning of The Bletchley circle highlights the lives and work of four women largely responsible for breaking down German codes for The United Kingdom's Military during WWII. The basis of the plot consists of the women 7 years in the future working secretively on a string of murders in the London area. This is a period movie and accurately depicts lives of British women during this time. This miniseries was produced for ITV but then cut and so it was moved to The United States PBS. The series was written by Guy Bert and directed by Sarah Harding, Any De Emmony and Jaime Payne. It is easily avaliable on Netflix for two seasons.
