The Path is an American Drama that released this year in the summer. The show is based on the people in a cult or ministry group and one man who had a vision. Eddie Lane, who is acted out by Aaron Paul, struggles in his beliefs after his vision in a retreat in a foreign country. From what he experienced, he doesn't want to reveal his beliefs and disappoint his family nor his group. Other than his beliefs, he dislikes the regulations after his friend took charge of the group that sound more a lot like a vague cult. He is forced to make choices between his beliefs and his family. The show began production in 2015 titled The Way but was soon changed to The Path. In 2016, Hulu debuted the show. Hulu renewed the show for a second season.
