Black Sails takes place on the island of New providence, the former British colony. Now Pirates rule the Island and the Queen Smuggler Eleanor Guthrie has the ways to turn the pirates prizes from the high seas of the Caribbean to gold and silver. There are many twists and turns in the series but the show focuses on the journey of Captain Flint, a former British Royal Navy officer turner pirate and his struggle to survive being hunted by the British and his quest for the massive treasure held in the Spanish treasure galleon the Urca De Lima.
