Life Unexpected was a drama television series that premiered on The CW from 2010-2011. This series only had two seasons. Life Unexpected was about a fifteen year old, Lux Cassidy, from foster care applying to become a emancipated minor. Lux finds out that her mother is a radio host, and her father, a bartender. While in court, a judge gives temporary custody to her biological parents. The show elaborates her journey as a teenager finding her biological parents. Throughout the show, Lux Cassidy struggles to know her parents, her new life, and ends up trusting them along with her new family. The series executive producers were Liz Tigelaar, Janet Leahy, and Gary Fleder. Both of the seasons are now on Netflix.
