The new drama series on FOX, Star, follows three young women as they try to make a name for themselves as a singing trio in Atlanta. Star, also the name of the center character, is a strong willed girl who grows up in foster care, finds her sister and flees to Atlanta with her Instagram friend in hopes of becoming superstars. The executive producers are Lee Daniels - creator and EP of Empire - and Tom Donaghy.
