The Good Place is a comedy about good vs. evil, morals and ethics and how your choices will affect your afterlife. This theme is applicable to everyone regardless of gender, age, religion or race. The humor and character banter lightens the seriousness of the theme and delivers the message on point. The plot follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife where she comes to realize that she hasn't been a very good person. With the help of her wise afterlife mentor (Ted Danson) and her new neighbors she's determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within. Executive Producers include: Michael Schur, David Miner, Morgan Sackett and Drew Goddard. This series was produced by Universal Television, Fremulon, and 3Arts Entertainment.
