The Flash is an upcoming superhero fiction/action television series developed by writers and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns. The series will be aired October 7 on the CW. The show is a spin off to Arrow, which will share the same universe. It is centered on the popular DC Comic character Barry Allen/ The Flash, who witnessed his mother murder and his father being wrongly accused. Upon a mission to uncover the truth about the murder of his mother, Allen gets struck by lighting and enters a coma. After waking up, he discovers that he has the ability to move at superhuman speed. With his new ability, he is determined to protect his city and bring justice upon the murder of his mother. Reasons to be excited about The Flash, is that DC Entertainment has had a good track record when it comes to their television series like Arrow and Smallville, and this will be the first time that we get to see a live action adaption of
The Flash. The show has not come yet, but I can tell that it will be better than that Green Lantern film.

Cummings, JaQuavion (TTh) The Haves and The Have Nots 100

The Haves and the Have Nots is a new television drama from the prolific writer, director and producer Tyler Perry. The show follows the complicated dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family and the hired help who work in their opulent Savannah, Georgia, mansion. Hanna Young (Crystal Fox) is the Cryers' maid and the matriarch of her family. Despite having no money, she has found other types of wealth through religion and virtue. She prides herself on her dutiful son, Benny (Tyler Lepley), the glue who helps keep the family together. Hanna does have one dark secret, however—her estranged daughter, Candace (Tika Sumpter), a manipulative opportunist who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. In a bizarre coincidence, Candace is shocked to find out that her newfound friend Amanda's father is Jim Cryer, the very man who has been paying her for sex and who also employs Candace's mother as his family's maid. Armed with this knowledge, the stage is set for what will be, in Candace's eyes, the opportunity of a lifetime.

"Smash" is a musical drama, with an all star cast ranging from movie marvels to Broadway babies with Angelica Huston, Debra Messing, Megan Hilty, and Americas very own Idol runner up Katharine McPhee, who all together make the show a "SMASH" hit along with their numerous amount of Award Winning guest stars (Jennifer Hudson, ect). SMASH celebrates the beauty and heartbreak of the Broadway theater as it follows a series of dreamers and schemers who all have one common desire - to be a "Smash."

Smash centers around a Broadway writing team who comes up with the idea to create a musical about the life of Marilyn Monroe where two aspiring actresses "Karen Cartwright" Katharine McPhee and "Ivy Lynn" (Megan Hilty), fight for the coveted role of Marilyn Monroe and what it take to fully be a Bombshell. The show lets the audience see that "In's and Outs" of the theater community and all the process that it takes to create a show, form the script, music, choreography, to finally the Main Stage. OF COURSE it is not fully a Theater story with out a little bit of "Drama" and SMASH has it all, it shows the realistic aspects of how far a people will go to make it to the top at all cost no matter who gets caught in their cross fire, and what happens when another show seems to steal the spotlight.

This show is a broadcasting show about sports but soccer mainly. The show will have ex world cup winners like Bodo Ilgner and ray hudson and other soccer stars talk about the soccer games from the past weekend. They show the best high lights from soccer games from all around the world that you wouldn't get to see on any other sports broadcasting show on a local channel. This is a great broadcast show for someone who loves sooner or for someone who just loves sports in general. You can watch the show on Dish TV on Mondays.

19 Kids and Counting series began in September of 2008. This TLC reality TV show is about the day to day lives of Jim Bob, Michelle Duggar and their 19 kids. They have nine girls and ten boys and all of their names begin with the letter J. The Duggar's are Independent Baptist and teach their children to practice a modest way of life. The show features the children's home schooling, the chaperoned courtships (dating) and the buddy system they live by. The executive producers for this show are Bill Hayes, Deanie Wilcher and Kirk Streb. Girl Meets World is a new coming of age sitcom on the Disney Channel. It is a sequel of the ABC sitcom, Boy Meets World, which aired from 1993 to 2000. Girl Meets World first aired June 27, 2014. The show follows the lives of Cory and Topanga Matthews' daughter, Riley as she tries to navigate her life through middle school with her best friend Maya. Cory (who was the main character of Boy Meets World) is now Riley's teacher at school. On August 6, 2014 Girl Meets World was renewed for a second season on Disney Channel. The same producers and writers of Boy Meets World write and produce the sequel but for a younger generation. Any fan of Boy Meets World will also be a fan of Girl Meets World.

This hour long drama will give you the most suspense you can get from a television series. Set in New York during the 1900 at the Knickerbocker Hospital you are thrown into the world of the surgeons and nurses that work there. Starring Clive Owen as Dr. John W. Thackery a drug obsessed, medical maverick who is pushing the envelope of what the 1900 considered modern medicine. This new series will serve as a view of what it was like back in the 1900 for doctors, when mortality rates were high and antibiotics weren't around. It's more 15 years least, and he is at a mid-life crisis, so he needs to find out what his next move will be. He lives with his couch surfing friend named Todd, and his dog Mr. Peanut Butter.

Briseno, Clarissa (TTh) Hemlock Grove 100

Hemlock Grove is a Netflix original series. Netflix just recently released season two back in July so people can beige watch. The show is executive produced by Eli Roth, developed by Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman, and is a production of Gaurmont International
Television. It is based on McGreevy's novel also called Hemlock Grove. The show examines the strange happenings in Hemlock Grove, a fictional town in Pennsylvania. Roman Godfrey, heir to the town's wealthy Godfrey family, befriends the town's newcomer, Peter Rumancek. Recent brutal murders in the town have stirred up rumors, and the two work together to shed light on the case while also hiding their own dark secrets. In this small town most of the income comes from the Godfrey Tower, which is ran by Olivia Godfrey who has secrets of her own. The Godfrey Tower is a hospital facility that does more than treat the sick. Season one and season two both follow different stories but still connect in a way. If you enjoy shows about supernaturals than Hemlock Grove is just for you. there is quite a bit of mystery in this show. Hemlock Grove takes a different approach to supernatural beings to a whole new level. This show can get quite graphic with gore, nudity
and sex scenes.

RWBY is a computer generated anime by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth Productions. RWBY (Pronounced like ruby) is set in the fictional world of Remnant where supernatural forces and evil creatures are all around. Those who fight those creatures are known as Huntsmen or Huntresses but not just anyone can become one. At Beacon Academy is where we meet the four main characters Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang where they are training to become Huntresses. Most of the characters are based off historical figures, fairy tale characters, and even an ice cream flavor in one case. For example, Ruby is based on Little Red Riding Hood and the monsters are known as "Creatures of Grimm" after the Grimm Brothers. RWBY marks the first anime ever to be exported to Japan from the United States. You can watch the episodes via Youtube, RoosterTeeth.com, or on DVD. Jim Jefferies stars as himself in the American TV Series Legit (2013). Presented by FX, this comedy series follows the life of an Australian stand-up comedian living in Los Angeles, California. Jim's mother constantly pushes him to find a better job and become a good person, in other words, become more "legit." Dan Bekkdahl stars as Jim's best friend and roommate Steve Nungent, who has recently divorced. Steve's younger brother Billy, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, is played by DJ Qualls. From road trips and adult care facility to online dating and hoarding these two stand by Jim's side on his stumbling journey to become more "legit." Created by Peter O'Fallon and Jim Jeffries, Legit is a crude and heartfelt TV series. The first season aired on FX, while the second was moved to FXX. It did not return for a third season, but Season 1 is available on Netflix and full episodes of Season 2 are available on FXNOW.

Constantine is a brand new show due to air this october on the 24th. The new show will be aired on NBC every friday at 10/9 central. The new show is based on characters form the comic series Hellblazer published by DC comics. Now directors Daniel Cerone, who is also the executive producer, and David Goyer are putting their own spin and compiling it into a TV series. This show is a supernatural/action/drama that is sure to get you on the edge of your seat. The show follows actor Matt Ryan who plays John Constantine, a magician and con man turned supernatural detective. The show will follow Constantine as he fights and protects us from dark forces that are lurking all around. If you liked the 2005 Keanu Reevs film, also based on the comic, then this is the new show for you.

Attack on Titan is an exciting anime series created by Hajime Isayama. This series focuses on a small civilization who has protected themselves from Titans by creating a walled community after almost being exterminated by them 100 years ago. Titans, who are mindless giants, seem to prey on people for pure pleasure rather than a food source. After living in peace for 100 years, the community is threatened once again by Titans. The main character, Eren, sees the destruction of his city and the murder of his mother by the hand of a Titan. After that day, Eren vows to kill every Titan in his path to protect mankind. The first two seasons are available through Netflix and have English subtitles.

Hatcher, Leah (TTh) Summer Heights High 100 (61 said it was worth watching)

Summer Heights High is an HBO series by Australian writer and actor, Chris Lilley. It's a mockumentary style comedy that revolves around a public school and it definitely delivers laughs. Lilley stars as all three of the show's central characters: a troubled 8th grade student named Jonah, a self-absorbed private school girl named J'amie and a flamboyant and narcissistic drama teacher named Mr. G. This show is incredible in every way. Chris Lilley definitely pulls off all three characters in the most believable way. Only on for one season in 2007, sadly, but all episodes are available on HBO Go. Two of the three characters also have spin off shows for those of you who just can't get enough. Hit The Floor is a jaw dropping series on VH1 that is so good, it has just been picked up for a third season. Hit The Floor was created by James LaRosa. The Los Angeles Devils, a fictional basketball team, has nothing but drama in the arena. This tv series follows the players who share the fame, power, money, and sex with the dancers, known as The Devil Girls. We can't forget the 2 murders. The murder of a former dancer and their previous director has become a mystery. Who killed them? Each of the main characters have a secret they are trying to protect that could jeopardize not only their working positions in the Devils' arena, but their outside lives as well. Because of these secrets, EVERYONE has become a suspect. As the murder investigation becomes more in depth, relationships throughout the arena are ruined, new ones surface, and old ones are rekindled. Yet, the murderer is still in the arena, quiet as kept. This show will leave your jaw dropped
after every episode because of the overwhelming suspense.

The Fosters is a hit show on ABC Family. It is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Stef Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams, a school vice principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef's biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon, and their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie, a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef welcome Callie and her brother, Jude, into their home thinking it's just for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found. But life has something else in store for the Fosters.
The idea for The Fosters was originally conceived by openly gay creators Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige who wanted to write a drama that reflected the "modern American family". Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg, also serve as executive producers alongside Jennifer Lopez whose production company, Nuyorican Productions, is responsible for putting The Fosters on air.
This show is something to watch because the plot portrays the normal every day issues and events teenagers & families go through, but with a "modern" twist. You can watch the first season of The Fosters on Netflix and then tune in for the second season on the ABC Family channel, Monday nights at 7 pm.

Granger, Rylie (TTH) Don't Trust the B**** 10

If you enjoy funny, wild, and drama; then Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23 is definitely for you. This fulfilling sitcom is produced by Nahnatchka Khan and directed by Jason Winer, that is aired on Fox and ABC. The show includes a party girl that also happens to be a con-artitst who lives with a sweet and innocent roommate. The series shows the different lifestyles of the girls that in the end, bring them together to be best-friends. Not only do they have problems with keeping friends; but also with finding ways to pay rent. Being sweet and innocent doesn't always get you further in life.... sometimes you have to be a b**** and that is exactly what the con-artist roommate is trying to do. She is teaching the innocent "baby" her conniving ways. ABC bought out Fox for the show after two seasons. ABC tried to change the name because they thought "B****" was inappropriate so they changed it to "Apartment 23".

Aveja, Efrain (MW) Hello Ladies 100 (58 plan to watch it)

Stephen Merchant, co-executive producer of The Office, brings his newest show to HBO playing an Englishmen trying to find love in Los Angeles. What could go wrong? Well as you watch the show you discover that everything could possibly go wrong for Merchant's character, Stuart Pritchard. Pritchard will do anything and I mean anything to land dates with beautiful women. Pritchard is a geeky, awkward web designer that just can't catch a break, but it's at his own doing. He constantly puts himself in humiliating situations and you would think he learned his lesson to not chase models. Obviously, he doesn't and continues to embarrass himself. If you've ever seen any of Merchant's shows such as The Office, An Idiot Abroad, The Ricky Gervais Show, or Life's Too Short then you'll definitely want to check out Hello Ladies because it's the same sort of concept where you have the protagonist put himself in awkward situations and the only thing you can do is sit and laugh. HBO did not renew the series for a second season, but they did want to air a special to wrap up the series. You can currently watch every episode from the first season on HBO Go.
