The series I would like to present for the Finding Gold assignment is called She's Gotta Have It. This Netflix series is based off Spike Lee's 1986 film of the same name. Taking place in present-day Brooklyn, New York, Nola Darling is an aspiring artist, who has to balance being in multiple relationships with three different men. After going through a traumatic experience, Nola must find new inspiration for her art work. Also, she must decide if she will continue the relationships with her three suitors. Along with Nola Darling's struggles, the subjects of gentrification, racial profiling, body image, and sexuality are discussed in this series. She's Gotta Have It is a series that many would enjoy, and it spotlights issues that many are scared to talk about. I really hope you get the chance to watch this series.
