Fooly Cooly is an anime produce by the FLCL production committee which consisted of two popular animation studio at the time Gainax and Production I.G. Fooly Cooly is a coming-of-age story (apparently it's very confusing) it follows our main character Naota a 12 year old boy who is lives in a industrial town who is bored with life until one day while hanging out on a bridge he gets hit by a pink hair woman driving a yellow Vespa named Haruko Haruhara and then his life gets crazy a thumb grows on his forehead and a robot comes out and throughout the series monster start to come out and then the FBI gets involved and it turns out that aliens are involved. FLCL premiere on adult swim in 2003 and influenced a handful of future anime
