Santa Clarita Diet is an original Netflix series. It is about a weird family bond between the mom, dad and daughter. Cable Girls is a Netflix original show that premiered earlier this year. Cable Girls is a show about four women living in Madrid, Spain in 1928. They each begin working in a telecommunications company as switch board operators and that is how they all meet. The series tells the stories of their lives and what each woman is going through. The stories range from a physically abusive marriage, dating for the first time, or trying to escape their dark past. Each are unique in their own way, yet tie back together because of their work place. A super unique aspect of the show, is that it is all in Spanish and they provide English subtitles within the show.

The Carmichael Show is a sitcom starring and executive produced by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. The show follows Jerrod Carmichael and his girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West) after Maxine decides to move in with him. Throughout the series, Maxine comes to get familiar with Jerrod's parents played by David Allen Greer and Loretta Devine. This sitcom is very refreshing because they touch very sensitive issues that many families can relate to while still keeping the humor.
