Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers is a documentary about the NBA basketball team, Los Angeles Lakers. The show premiered on august 15,2022, on Hulu, and the first episode starts off with how the organization was built from the ground up. Dr. Jerry Buss, the former Lakers owner, bought the team in 1979 when the lakers were on a downhill rate after the last championship won in 1972 with Jerry west and Wilt Chamberlin. Jerry Buss made the lakers relevant again in the 80s by bringing Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to the team. From there on, Jerry Buss and the organization were able to build a dynasty that still stands today.
