Utopia is a British television program centered around an enigmatic comic book titled "Utopia", the focus of an outlandish internet conspiracy theory. We follow a diverse group of fans that stumbles upon the comic's elusive and unreleased final script, revealing the conspiracy to not only be true but also more horrifying than ever imagined. Slowly, the secrets embedded in the book's lost script reveals a decades-long plot to "fix" the world's humanitarian and population crisis, leaving the group alone and untrusting of the world around them. Due to its depictions of gratuitous violence, the show might be unappealing to many audiences as the characters learn to lie, cheat, and murder to survive while on the run from a silent world leader whose power seems endless.
