The Terror (Season 1) is a thrilling drama series based on the real-life event of the Royal Naval expedition into the Arctic during 1847. The two warships, HMS Erebus and HMS Terror, become stranded out in the ice during their voyage to find the Northwest Passage. Led by Captain Sir John Franklin, the crew is faced with numerous challenges from extreme temperatures to dangerous predators in the wild.
