La Reina del Sur is an enticing, action-packed, and overall addicting television show that will leave you captivated after every episode. The show tells the story of a woman named Teresa Mendoza, from Sinaloa Mexico who lost her boyfriend because of the violent drug cartels, and is forced to flea in order to escape the Mexican cartel that killed her boyfriend known as "El Wero". As the show continues, Teresa meets more and more people who give way to the rise of her own empire and she eventually becomes Spain's most powerful drug trafficker. However, her past always seems to come back to haunt her despite how famous and dangerous she becomes. The show airs on Telemundo, but it can be watched anytime, anywhere on the well-known streaming platform known as Netflix.
