The Widow follows the life of Georgia Wells (played by Kate Beckinsale) after she learns that her husband, Will (Matthew Le Nevez), has died in a plane crash on the way to the Congo three years prior. After secluding herself in Wales, she discovers who she believes is Will in the background of a news report taking place in the Congo. Determined to prove that Will is still alive, she travels to the Congo despite the dangers she could possibly face. After her arrival, the mystery of what happened to Will begins
to unravel.
