Impulse is an original Youtube Red original science fiction drama series that is based on the novel Impulse by Steven Gould. The show follows a sixteen year old named Henrietta "Henry" Coles (Maddie Hasson) who is an outsider in her town. Everything changes when a traumatic event with another one of her classmates triggers something inside of her. She discovers that she has powers that cannot be controlled. Throughout the show Henry tries to deal with her new powers and the traumatic event that happened. The series deals with the sensitive topic of sexual assault so at the beginning of each episode there is a viewer discretion.
