Alone Together is a comedy about two millennial best friends, Esther and Benji, trying to make it in Los Angeles while not being as talented or attractive as most of the city's population. The two are completely codependent, argue constantly and are always getting themselves in some kind of trouble, making for many comedic and downright ridiculous situations. The show portrays the common struggle of young adults attempting to find a place for themselves in the world, and follows the characters through countless jobs, less-than-perfect love lives and awkward friend relationships. The main characters are played by the two writers of the show, who named the characters after themselves and are also best friends. The show originally airs on freeform, but is available to stream on Hulu.
