Happy Valley is a British crime drama television series filmed and set in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire, in Northern England. There are two seasons in this series and in the future a third one will be made. The series is about Yorkshire police sergeant Catherine Cawood, who pursues the man who assaulted her late daughter, unaware that he is now part of a secret kidnapping plot. There are several plot twists which keeps the show very suspenseful and interesting.
