Dark Tourist is a new Netflix Original TV series that first premiered in July of 2018. The whole concept of the show is to highlight the subset of tourism. As opposed to visiting beaches, parks, and other popular attractions, this series shows the dark side of tourism—like scoping out places associated with negativity, death, weirdness, and darkness. Journalist and writer of the show David Farrier takes his viewers on a dark and twisted journey as the viewers examine his travel experiences first hand. From witnessing an exorcism in Mexico to conversing with Jeffery Dahmer's lawyer to meeting vampires in New Orleans, Farrier does and sees it all in this Netflix series. I recommend this show to anyone who is curious, loves to travel or maybe even has a dark side his or herself. The show's executive producers are David Farrier, and Carthew Neal.
