The sitcom "Moesha" follows a young black teenager named Moesha as she comes to age in Leimert Park, California. After the death of her mother, Moesha was left to take care of herself, her brother, and her father. This was all until her dad remarried her school principal, Dee Mitchell. When Dee comes along Moesha must learn how to let someone else take care of her and her family and learn to be okay with Dee filling her late mother's shoes.
