The Great is Hulu's new comedy-drama, anti-historical journey through 18th-century Russia following Catherine the Great on her journey towards leadership. Upon arrival in Russia, Catherine is met by comedic issues after issue mostly deriving from her husband Peter the Emperor of Russia. The show stars Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult as the Empress and Emperor of Russia and holds ten episodes in the first season. A second season has already been announced and funded due to the success of the Hulu Original.
