My Name Is Earl is an American television sitcom that was created by Gregory Garcia. The show was aired on NBC from September 20, 2005, to May 14, 2009, in the United States. 20th Century Fox Television produced the show and starred Jason Lee as Earl Hickey, the main character of the show.
Being a long-life criminal, Earl knows nothing but stealing and causing mischief everywhere he goes. One day, Earl wins $100,000 on a scratch ticket. Shortly after winning, Earl gets hit by a car and wakes up in a hospital bed where he discovers karma for himself by watching an episode of the talk show "Last Call" with Carson Daly. Convinced that he must turn his life around to be happy, Earl creates a list with all the bad things he's done in life and sets out to cross them off his list with the help from his brother Randy, and his friends along the way.
