Limetown is a scripted, radio play-style podcast that premiered in 2015 and was created by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie. Akers and Bronkie self-financed the first season of Limetown with the intention of using the series as a "calling card" for their new production company, Two Up Productions. While Limetown is a fictional story, the show uses a documentary format that is very reminiscent of the mega-popular podcast Serial. The story of Limetown concerns the titular village which was a secretive research facility in the mountains of Tennessee. Ten years ago, the entire population of 300 people vanished literally overnight. A public radio reporter named Lia Haddock (played by actress Annie Sage-Whitehurst) begins an investigation in order to unravel the mystery of what happened in Limetown. While the show falls into the realm of science fiction, it has genuinely terrifying moments that rival any recent horror film or television show. The show Hollywood Medium premiered Sunday January 24, 2016. The star Tyler Henry is a medium that connects celebrities with loved ones that have passed away. I walked by my tv when the show was first beginning and was immediately drawn to it. Whether you believe in mediums or not, it's fascinating to see how much this 19 year old is able to connect to people that he has never known or even heard of.

This is a British series of shorts created by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling. It became popular after getting a lot of tracking from film festivals. Each episode is made to seem like a typical children's TV show, consisting of singing and talking puppets, but eventually takes a dark twist. The series is open for interpretation but most see it as a satire on how media influences, and sometimes, controls vulnerable age groups. Subjects such as creativity, love, technology, and nutrition have been addressed with surreal humor that makes one question what exactly they are watching. It's fascinating to watch how the show's story and characters progress each episode, questioning norms and reality.

Cutthroat Kitchen is a Food Network reality tv cooking competition that pits four chefs against one another, similar to Chopped, however there is one major twist that separates this cooking show from any other. Each contestant is given $25,000 that they can choose to use to sabotage their competitors in one way or another during each round. The sabotage is given to the highest bidder and they use it on whichever of their competitors they choose to give them a disadvantage while cooking a meal that has been assigned to said competitors. However, there are also items auctioned off that can provide the highest bidder with an advantage over the rest. Each round someone gets eliminated, with the help of a guest judge along with host, Alton Brown. In the end, the chef left standing wins whatever money they have not spent on buying things to given them an advantage or sabotage their competitors.

Grandfathered, a FOX original series, it follows the life of James Martino (John Stamos) who discovers that he has a son (Josh Peck)as well as a grandson after 25 years of never knowing this detail. Through out the series, James comes to realize that his son needs him now more than ever, and he tries his best to be there for him. The show has a lot of laughs but also it tugs on the emotional side of the audience. The show aired on September 29th 2015, it makes its revenue based off advertisements during commercial breaks. The Adventures of Rick and Morty is an animated sci-fi comedy series on Adult Swim. Skins is about British teenagers growing up in the UK trying to find themselves in the world. It's not like your typical coming of age American base sitcom or teen drama most are familiar with. There's hardly any adult supervision leaving possibilities for shenanigans endless. Yes it is riddled with lots of sex, lots of drugs and an extreme amount of partying, but with a spin that makes you glad you don't live there lives, however you can't take your eyes off it. I was aware of the show when it was first release so its quite interesting seeing all the young actors then compared to the major blockbuster films they are in now. As Nazi Germany creates closer ties with Spain, Quiroga makes alliances with The British secret service in order to give intel. Quiroga does this through her tailor shop where she listens to wives and mistresses of top tier Nazi officials go for custom dresses. Many would turn a blind eye to this series because they'd assume it's a cliche romance novela but I disagree. The Time In Between shows the transformation of a woman who once just thought to live one life where she'd get married and work in a shop for the rest of her life. However, she becomes resourceful, strong, independent and ambitious. So ambitious that she helps stop the Nazi regime. The executive producer is Emilio A. Pina. The spanish media group that presented the series is Atresmedia Corporación de Medios de Comunicación.
