Constantine is a TV series that is based off of the popular DC comic Hellblazer. The show follows John Constantine, demon hunter and master of the occult, as he travels across America fighting the forces of evil, battling demons and other creatures of the night. Constantine is a man struggling with his past sins, his soul destined for Hell for when he sent a child there after a botched exorcism. John had retired from the dark business, but he is pulled back into the demonic world. Now, he'll do whatever it takes to save the innocent from the supernatural threats that are breaking through into our world, which has increased, because of the "Rising Darkness". Balancing between good and evil, Constantine uses his skills to journey across the country to send these terrors back to their own world, all with the hope to redeem his own soul. Constantine airs on NBC on Fridays 8/7c.
