Wonder Showzen is an absurdist variety show meant to poke fun at public access children's programming. It features puppets, kids in costumes conducting interviews, and animated shorts. Wonder Showzen is very controversial due to some of its subject matter. Often times it is not scripted and can be surreal. It is executive produced by Vernon Chatman and Jon Lee, and many comedians have made appearances on the show including: H. The show airs on Discovery Channel on Friday at 10/9C. It is about a family who resides in the Alaskan wild and were born and raised wild. Billy Brown and his wife Ami have 5 sons and 2 daughters they are so far removed from civilization that they can go from 6 to 9 months without seeing an outsider. They have their own accents and dialects and refer to themselves as a "wolf pack". It's a race against winter to build a cabin to protect them from harsh Alaskan winters as well as enough food to supply them throughout the winter.

The show I am wanting to do is the Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge. It first aired in July 2014 and he gathers people who have done CrossFit, Martial Arts, etc. I really think my classmates will find interest in this show because its not really a show that leaves you hanging. You find out who the winner is at the end of the show and that winner goes up against the previous weeks winner. If they beat the previous weeks winner they will hold the title until someone knocks them off.

This a new television show release see by Netflix. It's an animated show about a world where animals coexist with humans with the ability to perform and act just like humans. It's based on a horse who was on "a very famous TV show in the 90." It's very entertaining a crude dumb sense. i found this show fit into the same type of category as south park or family guy where its innuendos and sometimes straight forward raunchy nature get a laugh out of audiences with the same sense of humor i imagine is shared with many people of my generation and mind set. the video is the trailer produced by netflix and is just as crude as the show just as warning.

Yes, you read that correctly, there will be blood. I mean, why wouldn't there be? Time Crunch + Tools (specifically saws) = Blood.

Reason 4: It will inspire creativity.
When you watch someone do something cool, what is your first thought? I want to try.
When you see a cool piece of furniture, what is your first thought? I want that.
When you see 6 talented designers build something cool, what is your first thought? I can build that.
The truth: No, no you can't. But at least you can get inspired to finish that home improvement project you've been working on. Especially since this is a brand new show -> i.e. you can't binge watch, sorry Dr. England.

Reason 3: There will be conflict.
I feel like this is an obvious one, but being on HGTV, one wouldn't expect to see "Real World" type argument. False. Even in the first episode, chairs are thrown and yelling happens. It's oh so exciting.

Agent Carter is a new television series on ABC that was inspired by the films Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and it expands the story introduced by the Marvel one-shot short film, Agent Carter.

Carmilla is a transmedia web series produced by Steph Ouaknine and Jay Bennet and uploaded to YouTube. The series is based on the 1871 novella of the same name by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. It follows the story of Laura Hollis, a college freshman who is just starting to adjust to university life when her roommate Betty goes missing. Laura is frustrated to find that the police and the university are uncooperative in finding Betty, so she starts taking matters into her own hands. Then, the school assigns her a new roommate, a mysterious girl named Carmilla, whom Laura suspects might be involved in Betty's disappearance.

The Carmilla series is unique and influential for a number of reasons. All of the show's main characters are female, and the majority of the crew is too. In addition, many, if not all of the characters are lesbians, and their sexualities are treated as normal and never questioned, which was a breath of fresh air for LGBT+ communities. Both of those things helped make Carmilla an extremely successful web series with a fiercely loyal fanbase.

Black Mirror is an anthology TV series from Charlie Brooke of the UK that focuses on technology. Each episode is a stand alone idea that allows the individual director to play with the theme. One episode involves a not too distant future where humans have a hard drive installed in their head so they can play back portions of their day, the première involves the prime minister being black mailed into having sex with a pig on live television.

The series is produced by Zeppotron and has gained worldwide notoriety, including Robert Downey Jr. who hopes to turn one of the episodes into a feature film.

Maxwell Alexander (TTh) Psych 100

From executive producers Steve Franks, Chris Henze, and Kelly Kulchacks Psych is a former USA Network comedy about Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his best friend Burton Guster( Dule Hill) who through a chance mishap become "Psych" a psychic private detective agency for Santa Barbara's PD. The only catch is Shawn isn't really psychic at all, but simply an astutely observative individual who was trained by his father Henry (Corbin Bernsen) who wished nothing more than for his son to become a police officer upon growing up. The show is both hilarious and down right outrageous at times but the loveable cast, awkward situations, and cinematography keep fans like myself watching time and time again. Switched At Birth is an ABC Family program that follows the lives of Bay Kennish and Daphnie Vasquez, two girls who were accidentally switched at birth at the hospital. Bay Kennish grew up as a daughter of a wealth ex-baseball player and is basically spoiled. Daphnie grew up Latino and lost her hearing when she was young. The two families live together at the Kennish house trying to work threw different struggles that come from different parenting, Daphnie being deaf, and different life styles.

Vsauce is a webshow on Youtube created by Michael Stevens who is now the host and main producer of the channel and sub-channels (Vsauce2 & Vsauce3). The show began back in the summer of 2010 and has been gaining popularity ever since. Vsauce is based mainly on providing education and information on almost anything you can think of with an incredible philosophical aspect to the overall perspective of each episode. To make better sense of the material, here are a few of the most popular videos: What if everyone JUMPED at once?, Why do we kiss?, Is your red the same as my red?, Guns in space, What color is a mirror?, etc. The list goes on with many intriguing topics for any interested viewer. The business model for this webshow is a bit shrouded in mystery as I attempted to search for background information but could not find any. My assumption here is that given how popular the channel is, I would imagine YouTube plays some part in the funding of Vsauce. However, I believe most of the driving economic forces for the this show is the host Michael himself. He is continually making guest appearances across the net and even on television. Vsauce is a webshow I have enjoyed for around two years now and I recommend taking a quick look at one of his more popular videos to get an idea of what the show is like.
